Tata Motors shares soar 3% on sales data
Shares of Tata Motors on Monday gained over three per cent after the company reported a 50 per cent jump in total passenger vehicle sales in December 2021.

New Delhi: Shares of Tata Motors on Monday gained over three per cent after the company reported a 50 per cent jump in total passenger vehicle sales in December 2021.
Shailesh Chandra, president (passenger vehicles business unit), Tata Motors, said: "Tata Motors PV business growth journey continued and set several new milestones during the quarter despite witnessing a shortfall in production due to the ongoing semi-conductor crisis."
The stock jumped 3.13 per cent to settle at Rs 497.45 on BSE. During the day, it gained 3.82 per cent to Rs 500.80. On NSE, it gained 2.98 per cent to settle at Rs 496.80.
